Wet back, 6' dia x 6' long, Laidlaw Drew steam atomising burner.

Built 1944 by W. Sisson & Co. Ltd. at Gloucester
pv on HP, sv on LP valve. SLRG valve gear.
No.4734. Xhead driven air & feed pumps, 75 IHP, 250 rpm, inboard condenser and centrifugal circ. pump.

Propeller

History

Built for Admiralty, used latterly at Portland Dockyard, retired 1973 and acquired for preservation by Maritime Trust. Steamed several years, sank at moorings, acquired for preservation. Ref : Funnel No.6. Under restoration 2000.
