MFE1101: Drums (Steel) 6" x 22", 74 Cunifer tubes, casing 26" x 21½" x 25".

sv valve. SLRG valve gear.
Power: 1 1/2 HP
Cast A frames, ecc driven Whale fp, 750 rpm, Fitted 1990.

History

Original name John Bull Second hand hull acquired c1989, restored and steam plant fitted by C A Hellyer and first steamed 1990. Approx miles steamed; 1993 - 150; 1994 - 120; 1995 - 65; 1997 - 80; laid up 1998. Purchased by Jeremy Clark in 2011 and name changed to Egret. Boiler rebuilt with cunifer tubes by Kevin Slater of Manor Farm Engineering. Under hull condenser added by owner for use in salt waters of River Hamble. Woodwork stripped and re-varnished.
