Built 1910 by Hobbs & Son at Henley-on-Thames
LOA: 27' 6", LWL: 27' 2", Beam: 4' 6", Draft: 2' 3", Displacement: 2200 lbs.
Varnished, canvas camping cover, wheel steering.

Boiler

Side fired Locomotive type Built 1983 by Langley Engineering at Storrington
Fuel: Coal, Pressure: 200 psi, Grate area: 1 sqft, Heating area: 20 sqft, Output: 300 lbs/hr,
14" dia X 38" long Steel barrel. 42 steel & Kunifer tubes. Welded steel ,expanded tubes construction, copper/bronze superheater,
condensing, engine driven pump, hand pump, injector, feed water heater, Windermere kettle, whistle, siren,
38 x 7/8" and 4 x 1½" tubes 18" long, Penberthy injector, hotwell, 14 gall fw tank, bilge ejector, ash ejector, Wkettle, hand fp.

Engine

Tandem Compound. 2" + 5" X 3 1/2"
Built 1887 by Simpson & Denisons at Dartmouth
Design: A size single patent slide valve. SLRG with straight links valve gear.
Power: 7 HP
Engine No.48. Reconditioned and fitted 1994.

Propeller

Bronze, 3 blades, Right Hand, 15 1/2" X 28"
Shaft: 7/8" Stainless Steel
Copy of an original Simpson Strickland propeller (ex Artemis), re-pitched in 1995 from 20" to 28" to match original specification for the engine.


History

Former electric canoe hull, acquired derelict 1983, restored, plant fitted by owner, first steamed 6th July 1986. (Previously fitted with owner built 21/4" + 33/4" x 21/2") Currently laid up.
