Blue, with varnished sheer strake and deck. Tiller steering. Pointed tunnel stern. Seats 5. Max speed 5 mph. Fitted with weed hatch.

Boiler

Lune Valley type 2-drum WT Built 2002 by Glyn Lancaster Jones
Fuel: Coal, Pressure: 150 psi, Grate area: 135 sqft,
Belt-driven Hypro 5300C fp. 1" hand fp made from Bruce Engineering gunmetal castings; belt driven "Hypro" rotary piston fp Steel No.1022. SS casing, grate, and 48" long funnel made using G L-J's drawings. Two 3" id steel fwh coils, 12m long, fitted by owners above the main boiler tubes. All pipework installed by owners.

Half built 1995- 2000 by owners, using castings from Cyril Taylor and crankshaft made from EN 8 steel. Completed by Great Northern Steam Co. in 2002. Commissioned 2004. Double-acting.

History

Designed to comply with the loading gauge of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. New launch built and fitted out by owners David Chadderton & Desmond O'Brien. Hull launched 1998, engine & boiler steamed and test certificate obtained Nov. 2003. Commisioned July 2004. Sold 2007 to Donald Wilson
