Mahogany decks, SS skeg and rudder, dark blue, varnished deck and interior, wheel steering.

Boiler

V helical coil WT Built 2000 by Ralph Pullen
Fuel: Coal, Pressure: 200 psi, Heating area: 28 sqft, Output: 310 lbs/hr,
condensing, engine driven pump, hand pump, injector,
Xhead driven fp & ap. Single drum 10" dia x 18" high, 20 x .5/8" 16 swg tubes 16" long, casing 24" dia.

Engine

Compound. 2 1/2" + 4" X 3"
Built 1999 by Ralph Pullen
Design: 6A by: Stuart Turner
sv valve. SLRG valve gear.
Cast frames, 400 rpm, belt drive.

Propeller

Bronze, 3 blades, Right Hand, 16" X 20"
Shaft: 1 1/4" Stainless Steel
The launch was later fitted with a schilling rudder which gave very good manoeuvrability ahead and astern


History

New launch was built and fitted out completely by Ralph Pullen and first steamed in 2000 Ref: Funnel 97. The boat passed to Mike Bell on Ralph's premature death. Sold 2014 to Mike & Eileen Hanson - KJS
