Boiler

2-drum WT Built 2004 by Century Millwrights
Fuel: Coal, Pressure: 100 psi, Grate area: 100 sqft, Heating area: 12 sqft,
Puffing, fp driven by push rod from Xhead, hand fp, injector, bilge ejector. Completely new pressure vessel fitted in 2004 within the original steel casing. ½ cwt bunker.

Engine

Single. 2 1/2" X 3"

SLRG valve gear.
Modified in 1995 and 2004.

Propeller

History

The original ‘Frolic’ hull, built, fitted out and plant installed by R. Latham, named FROLIC. First steamed May 1981. Sept 1981 acquired by John A. Pearce, Nottingham and renamed. Acquired July 1988, Steamed each year since. Now registered under a ‘flag of convenience’ in Monrovia (Liberia) but operating in the UK on the Fens.
