V shell, cross WT Built by Merryweather & Co. at Greenwich
ā€˜Cā€™ size, shell 18" dia. Fitted 1999.

Twin. 3" + 3" X 4"
sv valve. SLRG valve gear.
On 6 columns, Kcond, Xhead driven air pump and 2 fp, 130 rpm, 2 IHP.

Propeller

3 blades, 22" X 32"
Shaft: 1" Stainless Steel

History

Old double ended lifeboat hull acquired c 1976, restored, steam plant fitted by Peter Bridge 1977-8, first steamed 1985. Acquired 1990 by Roger Lees and Peter Rees and adapted for tripping work on Rudyard Lake. Used for tripping 1990-1996. Acquired 1999. Boiler formerly in LAPLANDER.
