Fuel: Coal, Pressure: 125 psi, Heating area: 7½ sqft, Output: 125 lbs/hr,
Engine driven fp and ap, Kcond. Injector, bilge ejector, hand fp, donkey pump, fwh, blower, whistle. N° 103. 8 coils. Steam drum 5" dia x 13" long, mud drums 1.3/8" dia x 18" long. Casing 16" long x 15" x 15".

SLRG valve gear.
Cast A frame, 1½ HP at 800 rpm. Steam consumption at 500 rpm and 100 psi: 85 lb/hr. Weight 41 lbs.

History

Originally fitted with a Stuart Turner petrol engine (R3M 1½ BHP single cylinder). Fitted out as a steamer in 1987 by owner Martin Clarke named WHISPER. Acquired by R.J.Oldenshaw in 1993 and named CHAKO VI. Fresh engine (Cygnet) fitted 1994. Approx miles steamed, 1993 - 72; 1994 - 204; 1995 - 110; 1996 - 150; 1997 - 83;1998 - 95. 2002- 20; 2003- 50; 2004- 50; 2005- restoration. Aquired by Patrice Livet in 2004 and renamed MERLIN. Steam plant refitted in 2005.
