New engine built utilising original Alex Richie castings and drawings reworked and 3D CADed by Kevin Slater of Manor Farm Engineering, Chew Stoke. Piston valves on HP and LP cylinders. 1 kW AC motor/generator and inverter fitted to drive the boat when steam engine not engaged. Charging at 24VDC into 2 x 120 ampere/hr 12V batteries.
