Thought to be transom stern GRP moulding by Island Plastics. Counter stern added during fit out in 1989. White, varnished mahogany decks and interior, tiller steering.

Originally installed in 'Helen'

Engine

Double acting twin . 2 1/4" + 2 1/4" X 2"

Slide valve. SLRG valve gear.
Power: 3 HP
Modified with longer connecting rods to reduce angularity and loading on crossheads.

Propeller

Bronze, 3 blades, 16" X 16 1/2"
Shaft: 1 1/4" Stainless Steel

History

Previously named 'Icthus'. Purchased from original owner in 2016 as a non running project. Machinery layout substantially altered. Engine now drives propeller directly, and a higher capacity VFT boiler is installed in place of the original horizontal type.
